Corrections Policy

We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix it in the open instead of quietly changing the story.

How to report a mistake

Email contact@aibriefingdaily.com with the link to the story, what you think is wrong and, if you can, a source for the correct information. A person reads every report and we aim to answer within a few business days. Mistakes about names, numbers, dates and quotes get priority.

What we do when a story is wrong

  • Small errors (a typo, a wrong date or a misspelled name) are fixed right away. The story shows an "Updated" date.
  • Material errors (a wrong number, a wrong attribution or a claim that doesn't hold up) are fixed and noted at the top of the story, saying what changed and when.
  • Stories that can't be supported are updated to say what we could verify, or removed. If we remove one, the address stays up with a short note explaining why.

Updates are not corrections

When news develops, we add the new facts and show an "Updated" date. We keep the original publication date visible, so you can always tell when a story first ran.
