Editorial Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026.

This page explains how we work, so you can judge our reporting for yourself.

What we cover

Artificial intelligence, and only artificial intelligence: new models, AI agents and tools, the business and policy around them, and their effects on work, law and society.

How a story is made

1. We find the news and go to the source. We start from primary material: official announcements, research papers, company documents, court filings, public posts by the people involved and direct statements. We don't rewrite other outlets' stories. 2. We write it in our own words. The editorial team decides the angle, explains why it matters and what's still unknown, and puts the facts in context. 3. A person checks it. Names, numbers, dates and quotes are checked by hand against the source before publication. Anything we couldn't verify is either left out or described as unverified. 4. We publish and keep it current. Stories show their publication date and, when changed, an update date.

Sources and attribution

We name our sources in the text of the story ("according to the company's post," "the paper reports") so you can see where each claim comes from. When a link to an outside source is useful, we include it. We don't treat a single anonymous or unverifiable claim as fact.

Fact and opinion

We keep reporting and opinion apart. When a story includes our own reading of the facts, it appears in a section labeled "Our take," and it's based on the evidence in the story. We say when a result comes from a company's own tests, a small sample or a simulation.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to help with parts of the work, such as polishing wording and producing translations. We never use them to invent facts, quotes or sources. Every article and every translation is reviewed by a person before it's published, and a person is responsible for what appears on the site.

Translations

Stories are written in English first. Translations are adapted for each language and checked before publication. If a translation differs from the English original, the original prevails.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and say so at the end of the story, with the date of the change. To report an error, write to contact@aibriefingdaily.com with the link and what's wrong. We read every report.

Independence and conflicts of interest

Advertising and affiliate links, if present, never influence what we report or how we describe a product or company. Advertisers don't see stories in advance. Sponsored content, if we ever publish it, will be clearly labeled. If a story involves a company we have a financial relationship with, we'll disclose it in the story.

Feedback

We want to hear when we miss something. Write to contact@aibriefingdaily.com. See also our contact page and about page.
